A Glire is a soft-skinned enemy that protects itself with large metal shells. The spiked shells open up only when the Glire sees the player with its single eye to attack. This enemy is closely related to [[Glice]] and [[Glunder]].
The Glire is an enemy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Subspace Emissary. It appears as a round machine with a central eye, and attacks by emitting flames. They can roll around the stage and climb up walls. They also have two other forms; one is [[Glice]], who releases ice instead of flame, and [[Glunder]], who releases sparks of electricity.
