Buzzy Beetle is a enemy from the Marioverse. They act much like the Koopa Troopa's, only they cannot be beaten with fireballs, and can jump from the ceiling.
In the Super Smash Bros. series
In Super Smash Bros.
The so-far only appearance of a Buzzy Beetle in the whole Super Smash Bros. series is as a background character on the Mushroom Kingdom stage, jumping on a Springboard.
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Buzzy Beetle appears as a regular trophy, appearing randomly during the Adventure Mode, Boss Battles, All-Star Mode, or collected through the Coin Launcher game.
Trophy Description
A Koopa underling with a heavy shell protecting it from fire. Stomping on Buzzy Beetles from above is the main way to deal with them, but spiked variations that cannot be stomped also exist. After saving Princess Peach in Super Mario Bros. and starting a new game, you'll find that most Goombas have turned into Buzzy Beetles.
