Luigigoshard is a Melee Luigi player from Kentucky, and is widely considered to be one of the top Luigi mains. He was formerly ranked 4th on the Kentucky Power Rankings. He most notably took a set off of Crush at Shine 2017 and also has set wins over Drephen, Kalvar, htwa, Legend, Krudo, Slowking, Drephen, and MoG in online tournaments.
LuigigoShard drew controversy in the summer of 2020 by portraying himself on social media as a vocal conservative, often trolling people online by self-proclaiming himself as “Donald Trump’s favorite Luigi”. This outraged several East Coast tournament organizers, and even selected ones banned him from their online tournaments.
