Template:Character Ivysaur is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Brawl in a sense; it is one of three Pokémon that can be played when you select Pokémon Trainer from the game's character select screen, the other two being Squirtle and Charizard.
Ivysaur is unique as a fighter because it is the first quadrupedal character to engage in battle in the Smash Bros. series.
