Trivia
- Piranha Plant was the only character available at the time with an alternate costume that changes its model (being the even-numbered costumes using a pipe instead of a pot) to not appear in this tournament.
- Toon Link, Young Link and Pyra/Mythra are the only characters in this event who do not have an alternate costume that changes their model. The inclusion of the former two in this event may instead allude to the costumes that change their appearances to that of Dark Link, while the inclusion of Pyra/Mythra is likely due to their ability to transform into each other fitting with the general theme.
- Múltiples facetas, the Spanish name for this event, is a pun. It can also by translated as "Multiple faces."
