The music of Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a rather hyped aspect of the game among video games in general, featuring remixes, medleys, and preservations of famous videogame music from across the Nintendo empire. See also Music (SSB) and Music (SSBM).

The full list of credited musicians for the game is posted here at Smash Bros. DOJO!!, and it numbers at 36 individuals as one of the biggest musical gatherings in gaming history, according to Masahiro Sakurai. Curiously, Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu is not among the list, even though he was credited for composing the official theme song for the game detailed below. Sakurai has stated that his group of arrangement supervisors were asked to listen to "an elite selection of Nintendo music" and arrange several of their favorite songs, which "means there will be quite a number of songs.

From time to time, Dojo!! will post a piece of music from the game as one of its updates to the site.

Main theme song

The main theme song was revealed along with the game itself at the game's first trailer in E3 2006. In this initial appearance it is a thundering orchestra with vocals sung in Latin. It was composed by famed Final Fantasy series composer Nobuo Uematsu.

A synthesized remix of the track without vocals was heard in the game's second trailer at Nintendo World 2006. Some believe this version may be menu screen music for the game. In the 15-second mini-trailer posted on Dojo on July 12th, 2007, a short remix of the main theme is also played.

Dojo!! music updates

From time to time, Dojo!! will post a piece of music from the game as one of its updates to the site, allowing viewers to get veritable audio previews for the game.
