The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

:I agree a category would be appropriate for this, for now leaning towards a new category since it isn't actually an update patch per say. The name you made sounds good to me. How do I see the changelist? I can't see it on the template. Juju1995 (talk) 00:02, March 3, 2020 (EST)
Split into subpages
Rather than this bloated behemoth of a template (>1MB), wouldn't it be more practical to have each character's list on a subpage? For instance, Villager's changelist would be at Template:SSB4 to SSBU changelist/Villager rather than nestled somewhere in the belly of a vast {{#switch}} statement. This would make editing the lists much easier, particularly on mobile (where currently it's all but impossible). For compatibility with the existing syntax, you'd just need to change this template to {{SSB4 to SSBU changelist/{{{char}}}}}

Cut Veterans
If I'm not mistaken, Ice Climbers, Squirtle, Ivysaur, Pichu, Young Link, Wolf, Snake, and Pokémon Trainer weren't in SSB4 and therefore didn't have any changes between that game and Ultimate. I don't know what needs to be changed and it's not exactly a big deal since I get the idea, but the current wording isn't accurate at all. KungFuLakitu, Spiny Overlord 19:52, June 2, 2020 (EDT)

Would it be appropriate to add this and the subpages to Category:Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Update Lists or would it be better to make a new category (maybe something simple like Category:SSB4 to SSBU changelists)? --CanvasK (talk) 21:49, January 8, 2022 (EST)
