Mega Tourney! (みんなでっかい! 巨大化トーナメント, Everyone Is Huge! Giant Tournament), known as Gigantourney in PAL regions, was an Event Tourney that ran from 6 a.m. on December 20, 2019 to 6 a.m. on December 23, 2019 (UTC). During the event, the size was set to Mega for giant battles.

- The main image featuring giant characters in Fourside references movies where giant monsters attack cities. The specific characters chosen may also have specific references:
- Isabelle may reference how in New Leaf, Lazy villagers may send letters claiming they dreamed of a 40 foot Isabelle destroying everything.
- Jigglypuff references its Final Smash, Puff-Up.
- R.O.B. references the giant version that appears in Port Town Aero Dive.
- Pac-Man could be a reference to either the ending of Street Fighter X Tekken or the movie Pixels.
