Trivia

  • Simon, Richter, Villager, and Isabelle are the only characters that wield an explosive object in their special moves (the former two's Holy Water bottles, though technically not a device, and the Lloid used in the latter two's respective side and down specials) to not appear in this tournament.
  • Mr. Game & Watch also did not appear in this tournament despite wielding a bomb in his moveset, though this is due to it being part of his forward aerial, rather than a special move.
