A Scope Primid (バズーカプリム, Bazooka Prim) is a type of Primid that appears in The Subspace Emissary story mode of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, that carries a weapon similar to a bigger, primitive-looking Super Scope, hence its name.
Scope Primids attack with two different kinds of scope attacks. One attack involves the Scope Primid quickly shooting three, small uncharged projectiles that deal low damage with barely any knockback. The other attack involves the Scope Primid taking some time to charge their weapon and then fire a single, large projectile that deals high damage and strong vertical knockback that is capable of KOing at high percentages. In some situations they can even concentrate all the energies in a single attack with OHKO power in every Difficulty. Both attacks can be reflected and absorbed. Scope Primids generally appear away from the player, while keeping their distance, to fire upon the player from afar. Scope Primids lack any sort of melee attack, but are capable of firing both horizontally and vertically.
Scope Primids pose their largest threat when they are in groups involving fast or strong close-range enemies, such as Sword Primid and Greaps. In such a situation, the player will often be distracted by the melee-attacking enemies, making it difficult to focus on and avoid the projectiles fired by the Scope Primids. In groups consisting of themselves or when solo, they pose a minor threat, as their projectiles are slow-moving, the charge shot has slow start-up lag, and Scope Primids themselves have low health, often falling to two blows, or a single strong attack. At lower difficulties, the Scope Primids are very unreactive and fiddle about with the gun rather than attacking, and rarely use the charge shot. On higher difficulties, their perceptiveness enhances and they can attack from a longer range.

Trophy description
A bazooka-wielding Primid. A Scope Primid uses weak, three-shot attacks and powerful, single-shot surge cannons. Due to its ability to also fire at targets above its position, you can't play it safe when a Scope Primid is down below you. Probably because of the weight of its weapon, it won't use its bazooka for direct strikes.

Trivia
- When a Scope Primid is on a slope, despite the gun's barrel pointing in the direction of the slope, the projectiles still travel only directly horizontally and vertically.
