This article is about Pikachu's appearance in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. For other uses, see Pikachu.

Pikachu (ピカチュウ, Pikachū) has been confirmed for Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Graphically, Pikachu appears to be slightly furrier, lighter and softer than it was in Melee. It has two new costume changes aswell: Pichu's old goggles, and a green headband worn by the male player character in Pokémon Emerald.

All of Pikachu's Special Moves are confirmed to return. It has also been seen using a forward smash and a down smash. Its forward smash seems longer.

Pikachu's On-Screen Appearance is the same as the original Smash Bros., where he appears out of a Pokéball.

Pikachu's Final Smash is called Volt Tackle. It transforms it into a ball of light, which it can control for a short period of time.


Event Matches

Sleeping in the Egg- The player controls Yoshi and has to use Egg Lay on Kirby and Pikachu simultaneously. [1]

Role In the Subspace Emissary

Althrough not declared in detail, a recent video showed him to use a Thunder Jolt.
