Kirby (SSBB)

Kirby (カービィ, Kābii) has been confirmed for Super Smash Bros. Brawl since the first preview shown at E3 in May 2006. Of all the characters shown, Kirby appears to be almost completely unchanged graphically. It's been speculated that Kirby's U-smash may be stronger, and his attacks may be quicker in general, though nothing is definite. All details of Kirby's Swallow and Copy have yet to be disclosed allowing for speculation that we may see changes in these abilities for Brawl.

His Final Smash is Cook Kirby (conjectural name), which is remeniscent of the Cook ability seen in various Kirby games. In those games, Cook Kirby tosses opponents into a pot by clashing cooks utensils, stirs, seasons, and voila! It is unclear whether or not health replenishing items will emerge from the pot after this Final Smash as it does in the Kirby games.

Role in the Subspace Emissary

After what appears to be a settlement between him and Mario, they are both attacked by the Subspace Army. Peach and Zelda come to their aide. When Mario attempts to stop the bomb, he is ambushed by Petey Piranha and blasted away from the stadium. Meanwhile, the two princesses are captured by Petey and are thrown into separate cages. Kirby then goes off against Petey.
