Entei (Japanese: エンテイ) is a Pokémon that comes out of a Poké Ball.
Character Description
Like the other legendary beasts, Entei made it's debut in Pokemon Gold & Silver. Entei was a legendary Pokémon that parished when the Burned Tower caught on fire. Ho-oh then revived Entei along with the other legendary beasts. Entei, along with Suicune and Raikou, can be found in the Burned Tower's basement. Once the player awakens the legendary beast, the player can find Entei in the areas where wild Pokémon are found. Entei also makes an appearance in Pokemon Firered & Leafgreen. Once the player completes a certain event on the Sevii Islands, then Entei will be roaming the wild if the player has chosen Charmander as their starter. Entei can be transfered to Pokemon Diamond & Pearl through the use of the Pal Park.
Role in the Super Smash Brothers games
Entei players a larger role in Super Smash Brothers Melee then any the other legendary beasts. Entei appears as a Pokémon that comes out of a Poké Ball. Entei uses Fire Blast as it's attack. A column of fire will surrounds Entei's body when it executes this attack. Any character caught in the column of fire will take damage. The character is also forced towards the top of the screen when he/she gets caught in the column of fire. Entei is a legendary Pokémon so it's appearance is rare. Entei's attack does not harm the summoner.
Entei also appears as a stage in Trophy Tussle 2. The characters will battle on top of Entei from the side view of it's body. Entei also appears as a collectable trophy.
