In Adventure Mode: World of Light, Galeem and Dharkon create copies of characters during their battles, albeit only those that were shown under their control during gameplay for each. Fake versions of all characters in the game exist, with the exception of Kirby, Olimar, and the Mii Fighters. Despite a fake version of the male Trainer existing in the Subspace Emissary and being shown in the mode's prologue as being captured by Galeem, there's no fake version of Pokémon Trainer produced when one of their Pokémon are spawned.

Piranha Plant also lacks a copy due to not appearing in the story of the mode as downnloadable content, presumably all future downloadable fighters will be the same.
