Cloud (SSBU)

Cloud (クラウド, Cloud) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. He was confirmed on June 12th, 2018. Cloud will once again be voiced by Takahiro Sakurai in all versions of Ultimate, albeit recycled voice clips.

Changes from Super Smash Bros. 4

Attributes

  • Change Cloud's Limit Break gauge is shown next to his character HUD.

Aerial moves

  • Nerf Neutral aerial has a smaller hitbox.
  • Nerf Up aerial's hitbox comes out later, preventing it from hitting grounded opponents.
  • Nerf Down aerial has a smaller vertical hitbox and has more lag.

Special moves

  • Change Cross Slash has a sleeker design instead of the brush-like strikes from Smash 4.
  • Change Cloud may not voice out once he manually obtains a full Limit Charge.
  • Nerf A fully charged Limit Break will lose all its charges if it is not used within 15 seconds.
