Cloud (クラウド, Cloud) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. He was confirmed on June 12th, 2018. Cloud will once again be voiced by Takahiro Sakurai in all versions of Ultimate, albeit recycled voice clips.

Attributes
- Cloud's Limit Break gauge is shown next to his character HUD.
Aerial moves
- Neutral aerial has a smaller hitbox.
- Up aerial's hitbox comes out later, preventing it from hitting grounded opponents.
- Down aerial has a smaller vertical hitbox and has more lag.
Special moves
- Cross Slash has a sleeker design instead of the brush-like strikes from Smash 4.
- Cloud may not voice out once he manually obtains a full Limit Charge.
- A fully charged Limit Break will lose all its charges if it is not used within 15 seconds.
