Due to his top tier status in ''Brawl'', Snake was nerfed in the transition to ''Ultimate''. He did receive some buffs outside of universal changes; his Remote Missile in particular is much faster and more controllable, making it a deadly edgeguarding tool. However, his up tilt's infamously long range was reduced, and his weight was sharply decreased, which combined with Cypher's ability to be destroyed and the removal of [[momentum canceling]] reduces Snake's endurance considerably.
