Revision as of 20:24, January 18, 2016

I tried to fix the bad grammar and offered a better description of the stage.

I added more and elaborated. I'll add specifics about the floating platforms later today or tomorrow if I can.

I added the Stage Layout headline, for more order... Kinda--{{SUBST:User:Darkangelsv1/sig}} -- I don't have a sig, so what? 13:38, August 14, 2007 (EDT)

"Rainbow Ride" in infobox header

Why is it there / is there opposition to my removing it? Miles (talk) 12:53, 25 October 2010 (EDT)

I believe the slash is there as this stage has been named both Rainbow Cruise and Rainbow Ride, in which case I believe it's most appropriate to have both stage names listed in the infobox. Omega TyrantTyranitarMS.png 13:12, 25 October 2010 (EDT)
Do any copies of Melee/Brawl actually list the stage as Rainbow Ride in-game? I'd like video proof if possible. Miles (talk) 17:49, 25 October 2010 (EDT)
According to name confusion section, it's called Rainbow Ride in PAL versions of Melee and Brawl, and it is call that in later NTSC versions of Melee (I'll have to confirm that later with my version of Melee). Omega TyrantTyranitarMS.png 17:51, 25 October 2010 (EDT)

Unless I start hearing more evidence, I'm changing the infobox back to Rainbow Cruise alone. Miles (talk) 23:08, 2 November 2010 (EDT)

Symbol in infobox

Since the stage appears in both games, should the symbol in the infobox be the Melee version or the Brawl version? Or maybe both? This also pertains to the other Melee stages in Brawl. Toomai Glittershine ??? The Inconceivable 22:55, 5 January 2012 (EST)

I'd say there's enough room for both. Toast Wii U Logo Transparent.pngltimatumTransparent Swadloon.png 08:16, 6 January 2012 (EST)

Warp Stars

Since when did Warp Stars not spawn on this stage? KirbysCrazyAppetite (talk) 16:21, 16 January 2016 (EST)

Curious for me as well, how about you try it out? I unfortunately don't have the game on me. Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 16:24, 16 January 2016 (EST)

Just tested it myself in Melee on Dolphin, and I can confirm that turning off all items but Warp Stars and setting items to Very High, I only got empty/explosive container items. Miles (talk) 16:33, 16 January 2016 (EST)

What about Brawl? KirbysCrazyAppetite (talk) 16:35, 16 January 2016 (EST)

Yeah, can someone please test this with Brawl? I don't have any games on me. Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 22:21, 17 January 2016 (EST)

...I wonder why that is. I just used Debug menu to force it to give me a warpstar and nothing abnormal happened... Serpent SKSig.png King 22:32, 17 January 2016 (EST)
I think it has to do with it being very much a cruise-style stage? Not in a sense of changing backgrounds or just dropping you off a la Rainbow Road or Skyloft, but scrolling and cycling through parts of the stage? Like what if you got a Warp Star and then KO'd yourself because you landed at a super high platform? Something like that. Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 22:36, 17 January 2016 (EST)
Yeah, that's true... Serpent SKSig.png King 22:37, 17 January 2016 (EST)

So stage-specific item rates are in Melee too? Interesting, wonder if they might even be in SSB64. Toomai Glittershine ??? The Sphere 23:22, 17 January 2016 (EST)
