The Road to TGC was a local tournament held in Houston, Texas, hosted by Xyro and AirbrushKing. It was the first in the series of Texas Gaming Championships tournaments. Custom movesets were allowed and the tournament operated under the 3 stock, 7 minute ruleset. There were Mario Kart 8 and Pokémon X & Y side events as well.
