Due to Yellow Status, I will make my page brief.

I've been playing Smash Bros. since the first game on the N64, but I haven't really started getting good at it until I got the Wii U version. See, up until that point, I had never played against anyone online, and only had the CPU and my (less skilled than me) rl peeps to play with.

When I battle, I primarily do 1 on 1 For Glory matches, though I like to mix it up with Team battles and occasionally go For Fun. My mains are Kirby and Bowser, and my sub-mains are Meta Knight, Falco, King Dedede, Dr. Mario, Ike and Ganondorf. My choices are more in line with that of characters I like and identify with, as opposed to any conception of tier rankings. So far, I have played nearly 5000 online battles, most of which were 1 on 1.

Also, I play with a Game Pad, and I don't think I will ever return to a Gamecube controller.

The following is a brief honor list that I try to act by when fighting in 1 on 1 For Glory:

• Never suicide, unless your opponent does it first. When in doubt, keep fighting.
• Do not attack an opponent who taunts at the beginning of a match. All other taunts are to be punished if possible.
• If your opponent is obviously less skilled than you, do not mock them or toy with them. (unless they are being a dick) Finish them cleanly.
• If your opponent is obviously more skilled than you, do not waste their time if they beat you more than 2 times in a row. Bow to them and then leave.
• Try not to spam moves. Variety is the spice of life.
• If the timer is counting down, try to finish it. Don't purposely stall to Sudden Death.
• Always give your opponent a second game if they mess up in the first game.
• If it happens once, assume an honest mistake. If it happens twice, it's bad sportsmanship.

The following is a list of things that annoy me when playing in 1 on 1 For Glory:

• Suiciding or otherwise giving up, especially after one stock is taken. It's cowardly, and I will likely leave if you do this.
• Duck-dancing. No explanation is required. I will leave.
• Taunting more than once after a KO. Once is enough. (Unless you are playing as Luigi, Kirby or Mr. Game & Watch)
• Stalling to Sudden Death. I can tolerate camping, but at least fight me. Don't do stuff like jumping under the stage.
• Suiciding if I make a fatal mistake in game. Regardless of your intent, it is disrespectful to do this.
• Spamming one or two moves over and over.
• Picking the character I am playing as for the second round, then playing them poorly. (Or doing any of the above things as them)

The following is a list of things I like to see from my opponents in 1 on 1 For Glory:

• Character mastery. I.e. actually playing well with the character you've chosen. Shows me that you care.
• Unique fighting styles. Any schmuck on the internet can attempt to copy the hoo-haa or spam PK Fire. Show me your moves, dammit!
• Fighters who are not all that great, but stick around for many subsequent matches and keep fighting. It's big of you to throw yourself at relentless beatings to learn the quirks of the game. I applaud you if you can eventually score a win.
• Opponents who can and will finish me cleanly. (i.e. beating me and not doing things in the above list)
• Opponents who, after beating me, give me a second battle. Often I don't use my best characters for the first fight, I like to show you what I can do if pushed.
• Opponents who, if using the name entry to type messages, say "GG" or something to that effect.
• Opponents who do not hold back. I want to see your full force. I feel cheated if I know you aren't really trying.
