For the sake of keeping this page grammatically correct, the section of the durability page where it mentions Kirby, you use the word impacted, where in fact, that is not a word, but had an impact is. Impact is a noun, not a verb. Had to keep it correct. [[Special:Contributions/72.104.148.207|72.104.148.207]] 09:41, 25 November 2014 (EST) |

As both male & female variants of Robin will be playable, it seems appropriate to use the pronouns they/them/their, etc. instead of he/him/his. Hausheck (talk) 17:18, 14 July 2014 (EDT)
- The current policy is we use the pronouns of the more prominently displayed variation in situations like this. Villager's official art is male, so we male pronouns, while we use female ones for Wii Fit Trainer for the same reason. While the official artwork here shows both versions, the reveal trailer and poster both emphasize the male version, with the trailer making it clear that female Robin is the alternate version. Miles (talk) 17:20, 14 July 2014 (EDT)
Miles does have a point. Both Villager and Wii Fit Trainer use the male and female pronouns (respectively), and since Male Robin is more focused on in the trailer, it seems reasonable to just have male pronouns.
That, and Miis don't have one gender favored over the other, so that's why they use they/them/their pronouns. Aidanzapunk (talk) 17:23, 14 July 2014 (EDT)
Special Moveset
This Famitsu Scan seems to show off their special moves with lighting spells being neutral, the fire one on the side, wind upward and Nosfuratu downward. http://knowyourmeme.com/photos/794726-super-smash-brothers

The name should be Thunder Magic, not Thunder. Just saying. The Smash Brotha (talk) 12:28, 5 August 2014 (EDT)
- The scan just says Thunder. ♡FirstaLasto♥ 12:57, 5 August 2014 (EDT)
- Was the scan from Japanese to English? If it was, then the names would be different. Like Bowser is Koopa, Mega Man is Rock Man, and Charizard is Lizardon. And for moves, Gravitational Pull is Item Capture. They were all translated from Japanese so the English name may be different. The Smash Brotha (talk) 13:09, 5 August 2014 (EDT)
- The Japanese name of the move is literally the English "Thunder". Although regardless, the reason we can assume the english name as thunder is because of the comparison to the FE games. In FE, Nosferatu is called Resire in japan, so from seing that Resire is the name of the move here, we can assume the english name is Nosferatu. It's the same thing for this move. It uses the same japanese name as Thunder. ♡FirstaLasto♥ 14:12, 5 August 2014 (EDT)

Levin Sword can be used by other characters
Apparently during the demo build that was made playable recently someone experienced a little something odd. while playing as robin they ran out of attacks and robin dropped the Levin Sword to pull out the Bronze One. Only a CPU enemy was able to grab it before it fell to the ground, they were able to use it like a standard attack weapon and knock Robin out of the ring.

- We're not taking eye-witness reports from Zipzo among others, since there is a (albeit very small) chance that what he's saying is all made up. (I don't even think we're trusting the Alph/Deity Link/Dixie Diddy/Wolf Fox colors pic yet) The game comes out in like 4 days so I wouldn't worry about not mentioning it now, since we'll have video proof in a short few days, but thanks for bringing it up. - I honestly don't see why people would lie about this since there is a playable demo of the game of it out in japan now. Since the demo is out, if a person lies about something, multiple people would be able to verify it is a lie. Many people are confirming these things from having seen or played the demo. But w/e.
Ixbran (talk) 04:43, 8 September 2014 (EDT)- Things like the Galacta Knight costume have been made up, so it's not unheard of. - Ninelevendo (talk) 05:27, 8 September 2014 (EDT)

Robin's combo finisher & other observations
I'm not sure I want to try editing the wiki directly during the "new game rush" (so to speak), so I'll just bring this up here and let others experiment/verify.
I'm playing in Japanese on the 3DS, and several of these lines aren't consistent with my testing.
- The type of tome Robin has equipped changes the effects of some of his standard attacks, such as the neutral combo, which can finish with a fiery blast, or repeated Elwind slashes.
I'm not sure this is actually what's happening. When I perform a combo with Robin, the neutral combo finisher appears to be based on his/her proximity to opponents, and Robin changes his tome based on the finisher he uses (not the other way around). It seems that if the first two slashes of the combo hit, it's always wind slashes (tome changes to Elwind). Otherwise, it's a fire blast (and tome becomes Arcfire). They do, however, require the tome to be available. If I use up Elwind, then I can do fire blast in close proximity to enemies. If I use up both Arcfire and Elwind, I have no combo finisher.
- Robin's tome changes with each special attack, and Robin will keep that tome equipped unless he uses a different special move.
In addition to the above about combo finishers, the tome also changes to announce when a used-up tome has returned (this is accompanied by a visual effect and animation). Likewise for the Levin sword.
- Both of these moves appear to have electric properties, even when Robin does not have the Thunder tome equipped. (the two moves mentioned appear to be his Down Smash (the forward is a stab) and Aerial Up)
I think the electric properties are present on all attacks that use the Levin sword. This would be smash attacks (which change it to the Levin sword) and aerial attacks (which use the current sword). If you perform aerial attacks with the normal sword (or if you break the Levin sword and try smashes), they are not electric. 67.248.159.85 12:34, 14 September 2014 (EDT)
Trivia to add.
Robin uses Nosferatu in Smash, while in Fire Emblem: Awakening, neither the Tactician or Grandmaster classes (the only classes the Avatar can use) can use dark tomes like Nosferatu.

- I'm 99% sure that's already on the Nosferatu page. Air Conditioner I FEEL FANTASTIC 20:31, 14 September 2014 (EDT)
Robin's Arcfire
The last Arcfire custom move should be Arcfire+. I just unlocked it. Kah0922 (talk) 13:11, 4 October 2014 (EDT)

Durability Notes
Just made an account to add some measurements I made, so this is probably formatted wrong, sorry. I found it useful that you have the number of uses before breakage listed here, but not how long it takes to regain the items, or if uses recover over time without breakage. The answer to those questions are, respectively: Thunder 10 seconds, Arcfire 10 seconds, Elwind 6 seconds, Levin Sword 6 seconds, Nosferatu 40 seconds, and no, uses don't recharge unless the item breaks so you are better off finishing it off. Times don't appear to change for custom variants, though in the case of Thunder+, the durability stats change to: Max Durability = 10, Thunder use = 1, Elthunder use = 2.5, Arcthunder use = 4, Thoron use = 10. Kalkin (talk) 15:28, 5 October 2014 (EDT)
- I just added this information to the article. Thank you very much.
- Just one question: I haven't toyed around with custom moves yet, is Thunder+ the only one that influences uses?
- Tested the custom moves out. None of the other custom specials change the number of uses Robin has with that particular special. Fairyrunner (talk) 10:03, 6 October 2014 (EDT)
Throwable Tomes
I laughed when I found this out in customization, but is it important to note that the discarded tomes and Levin Sword can be caught as a throwable item? If so, what page should that info be in? Fairyrunner (talk) 10:03, 6 October 2014 (EDT)
