:::This is from [http://pastebin.com/cGeFEmZC|this list of trophy descriptions on the 3DS version], and I'd take it with a grain of salt since it's all text, but it seems to imply that it is indeed from Mario Bros. 2: "This special grass first appeared in Super Mario Bros. 2, where plucking it revealed hidden items. Mario Bros. 2

So, um, what proof do we have that it's from Animal Crossing? I had initially thought it was a Mario Bros. 2 item due to it working similarly to the turnips in that game, but with seemingly no dispute outside of that one IP over it being an Animal Crossing Item, I ask again, where is the proof? Is there a trophy of it or something? Laikue (talk|contribs) 01:50, 22 September 2014 (EDT)

Haven't seen the proof yet myself, but it should be as simple as checking the trophy. There's a big series symbol behind the description. Miles (talk) 02:17, 22 September 2014 (EDT)

This is from [1] this list of trophy descriptions on the 3DS version, and I'd take it with a grain of salt since it's all text, but it seems to imply that it is indeed from Mario Bros. 2: "This special grass first appeared in Super Mario Bros. 2, where plucking it revealed hidden items. It works exactly the same way in Smash Bros.—if you pluck the grass, maybe you'll find a game-changing object!" - Mistiryshak (talk) 12:39, 22 September 2014 (EDT)

Really? I have it open in another tab right now and it's still there when I refresh. I edited the link in my comment, so it should show up now. I know it doesn't count as proof, but I figured I should mention it just in case. - Mistiryshak (talk) 12:54, 22 September 2014 (EDT)
