Team Liquid is a professional gaming crew based in the Netherlands. Owned by Victor Goosens, the crew was initially centred around the video games of StarCraft II and Dota 2; in 2014, the crew entered the community of professional Super Smash Bros. by forming a Melee team of Ken and KoreanDJ. The decision to form a crew for Melee stemmed from The Smash Brothers documentary that was filmed by Samox; the same director produced the announcement video for the induction of the duo to Team Liquid.
