:::::::::On the contrary, Captain Falcon's recovery is 6x better than Ganondorf. Captain Falcon has the 5th best air speed n the game and he has excellent vertical recovery and decent horizontal recovery. Ganondorf is terrible in both. I hate to break it to you guys, but there is no way this will ever get accepted by SWF as the "official" recovery tier list. First, there is not and will never be such a thing. The point of the tier list is to look at the aggregate performance of characters in tournament play and predict on the macro scale. Short of documenting every recovery ever attempted in tourneys and trying to assign some semblance of quantitative analysis, this just won't happen. Second, you're not going to see them take a single person's tier list as official, ever. The tier lists are extensively discussed by many people in the back room, all of whom are actively involved in the professional scene. Which brings me to the final point, that the Backroom simply won't care what you have to say. This isn't an indictment on you; they wouldn't really care what I have to say either. But from their perspective, they handpick the members of the Backroom to make sure they are dealing with the most knowledgeable members of the community, and those who have the most data to work with. If you want to put this on SWF to get some opinions on it, go for it. But if you tell them you want to make it the Official Recovery Tier List be ready for some hardcore flaming. No offence, DK, but ZS's is looking a bit better. TL is way too high, and ROB is way to low. <choose>Mr. Anon teh awsomeAnonSir Anon the great</choose> 17:32, August 7, 2010 (UTC) | No offence, DK, but ZS's is looking a bit better. It's better, but I think Kirby's still a little bit too high. Mr. Anon teh awsome 18:47, August 6, 2010 (UTC)
- Also, Diddy Kong should be higher. Keep in mind that he can go under Final Destination, and he can wall cling. Sir Anon the great 18:48, August 6, 2010 (UTC)
How is this? Zeldasmash 20:32, August 5, 2010 (UTC)
- When replying to something, type : at the begining. Add one more if someone already responded. (If they put ::, you put :::)--MegaTron1XD 23:17, August 6, 2010 (UTC)
Because Kirby relies on FC to recovery, but it doesn't give much horizontal distance. Diddy Kong has his side special and a great Up special, and because of this he can go under FD. Sir Anon the great 01:29, August 7, 2010 (UTC)- Never Mind. I didn't see that you had already made the changes. It's pretty good. You might even want to submit this to SWF as the official recovery tier list, although there might be some things I haven't spotted. Let's see what others think. Sir Anon the great 01:31, August 7, 2010 (UTC)
- No, you shouldn't submit this list, it is heavily flawed. You may like Link, but he is definitely no better than second last. If you're willing to listen to my criticism, I'll be on the IRC. But do not actually try to submit this to SWF. Omega Tyrant 01:46, August 7, 2010 (UTC)
- Yes i will listen. Zeldasmash 02:00, August 7, 2010 (UTC)
- @OT, I meant after this has gone through all the "proofreading" from the rest of us. Anon 17:31, August 7, 2010 (UTC)
