The Cave is a stage in The Subspace Emissary of Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
The stage consists of Pit, Mario, Link, Yoshi, and Kirby continuing their pursuit of King Dedede. The stage follows the events of The Lake Shore, in which Dedede fled the group with the trophies of Ness, Luigi, and either Peach or Zelda, based on the player's initial rescue during Midair Stadium.
It starts in Dedede's castle, when the group find its interior in ruins, they see a hole in the wall leading into the stage. The whole stage is littered with booby traps that can crush the smashers.
