Mesprit is a generation IV legendary Pokémon.
Creature description
Mesprit is one of the legendary psychic Pokémon found in Sinnoh. Mesprit was thought to be born from the same egg along with Azelf and Uxie. Mesprit is the Being of Emotion, which leads to the legend that its birth gave humans the nobility of sorrow, pain, and joy. It ordinarily slimbers at the bottom of a lake, but its spirit is said to leave its body and flitter on the water's surface.
Mesprit was captured by Team Galactic along with the other two of the trio and were used to create the Red Chain, a device used to capture Dialga/Palkia. Mesprit can be found at Lake Verity, but will quickly run away, and will have to be tracked down to be caught.
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl
It randomly appears in the background of the stage Spear Pillar, but has no effect on the battle. Mesprit also appears as a Trophy.
