'''Armank''' is an enemy from [[The Subspace Emissary]]. Although it looks like a large tank, it is actually nothing more than a green blob inside of a tank-like vehicle. The tank is fitted with a large, red dragon-like claw that it uses to attack. Destroying the claws causes the green blob to open up the cockpit and look out, creating the perfect opportunity to attack it.
'''Armanks''' are some of the more powerful enemies in [[The Subspace Emissary]]. Although they look like a large tanks, they are in reality nothing more than a green blob-like creatures inside of vehicles. The vehicles that the creatures reside in bear similarities to a tank, but instead of a cannon, they are equipped with large, retractable arms similar to that of a construction crane. While the arm is retracted,  Armanks drastically reduce any damage dealt to it, as well as only being able to roll around on it's treads, which can  deal damage to any fighter who makes contact with it. Eventually, it will extend it's arm, which may then either shoot out in a ramming attack towards any nearby fighter, or fire two energy pulses in quick succession. In the event that the arm is destroyed, the Armank's chassis is forced open, revealing the actual enemy, which also serves as a weak spot. If this weak spot is attacked repeatedly , the Armank, chassis and all, will perform short, non-damaging bounces,  preventing it from closing it's chassis again. If the Armank is successful in closing it's chassis, it will reproduce it's arm, restarting the cycle. Additionally, if a fighter attacks an Armank the moment it appears(before it makes contact with the ground), they will be able to deal damage as if they had already destroyed the Armank's arm.

An Armank displaying its dragon-like arm.

Armanks are some of the more powerful enemies in The Subspace Emissary.
