Trivia
- If this tournament is considered a major, as some retroactive rankings have classified it as, Bum's placement of 4th with Donkey Kong and WarriorKnight's placement of 9th with Bowser marks the highest placement at a Melee major of their respective characters. SmashWiki, however, does not consider the tournament to have been a major.
