Power Suit Pieces are the pieces of Samus' armor after she performs her final smash. After Samus performs her Final Smash, the Zero Laser, her suit is depleted and falls off of her in three pieces. Any player can then pick up and throw the pieces of her Power Suit. Each piece, when thrown, has much knockback and does 12% damage (depending on strength of throw).
One can hold the shield button to start a match as Zero Suit Samus. When one does this, Samus' On-Screen Appearance is replaced with her suit dismantle animation, which will also produce Power Suit Pieces. Pressing "up, down, up" very rapidly on the D-pad (while playing as normal Samus) also drops these projectiles.
Trivia
- When fighting against Samus in Classic Mode, if she uses her Final Smash, it will generate giant Power Suit Pieces. They return to the normal size after player picks it up.
- The three power suit pieces all come from her right arm. The shoulder part, the forearm, and the arm cannon.
