Spirit Battles
- All Spirit Battles from this series feature stamina battles, referencing the main gameplay of the Street Fighter series where the objective is to deplete the opponent's health bar.
- Many Spirit Battles from this series feature stages in their Ω form, which mimics the flat appearance of stages from the Street Fighter series.
- Many Spirit Battles from this series have a Reduced Jump Power battle condition, which causes characters' jump heights to better resemble the jump heights of the Street Fighger series.

Trivia
- With an initial base stat of 189 for both attack and defense, Dan is the weakest primary spirit in terms of defense from the entire base game. This is a reference to his status as an intentionally-weak "joke" character in the Street Fighter series.
- However, he is not the weakest spirit in terms of attack, losing to Absolutely Safe Capsule, which holds an initial (and permanent) base attack of 0, and Rock Pikmin, with a base attack of 172.
- Dan is also the weakest primary spirit in the game overall, with an initial power of 400 and topping out at 2,003, just over half the second-weakest primary spirit, Goomba, whose power starts at 750 and peaks at 3,758.
- Akuma has the highest attack stat out of any spirit in the game, maxing out at 7941 at Level 99. Ignoring power multipliers from skills and traits, Akuma also has the highest power of any spirit at 13235.
- Combining Akuma with Demon Style gives the highest possible base attack (not including additional multipliers that only apply to specific moves). Since "akuma" can be translated as "demon", this would make this combination literally "Demon Style Demon".
- Cody is the only Street Fighter spirit to originate from a non-Street Fighter game, although Final Fight and Street Fighter do take place in the same universe.
- All Street Fighter spirit battles are Stamina Battles with reduced jump power. This is a reference to Street Fighter having only stamina battles as well as being more ground based in nature.
- As with the main series Street Fighter titles, the names for Balrog, Vega, and M. Bison were switched around for Western releases. In Japan, Balrog is known as Mike Bison, Vega is known as Balrog, and M. Bison is known as Vega. Within the fighting game community, the three are known colloquially as "Boxer", "Claw", and "Dictator" respectively.
- Akuma also shares this distinction, being known as Gouki in the Japanese release.
- Nash also used to be an example, as it was the name used for him in Japan and he was called "Charlie" in Western releases, until Capcom unified both names as of Street Fighter V, making his full name Charlie Nash.
- Dee Jay's spirit battle is the only Street Fighter spirit battle to have more than one opponent.
- Juri is the only Street Fighter spirit who originated from a 3D Street Fighter game, that game being Street Fighter IV.
- The Street Fighter III games are the only ones whose spirits have no spirit battles, being both summon-exclusive.
- E. Honda and Dhalsim are the only two World Warriors to not have spirit battles.
