Origin
Sans is a skeleton that Frisk first encounters after leaving the Ruins. He is seen tagging along with his brother Papyrus as Papyrus attempts to capture Frisk, but consistently fails. After befriending Papyrus, Frisk has the option to visit Sans's house. Sans at first appears to be a laid back and lazy character but as the game goes on, it's clear he's more aware than he first lets on. FUNNY JOKE FUNNY JOKE In the pacifist and normal mode, Sans is re-encountered in the Hall of Judgement before facing Asgore. Sans would "judge" Frisk, revealing that experience points and levels are directly linked to how willing the player is to inflict pain and death on others. His speech will change depending on what the player has done previously, with special dialogue if the player killed Papyrus. In the genocide route, Sans would fight Frisk instead, using weapons such as Gaster Blasters and bones. He avoids all of Frisk's attacks until the very end, in which he is instantly defeated. He then crawls away, dying off-screen. BAD TIME LOL

Sans appears as a Mii Fighter costume as part of Wave 3 for Ultimate with one of his Gaster Blasters as his arm cannon. Along with him, a new remix of his boss theme Megalovania was added.
