(Changed crews to sponsors. A crew is a group of people that play together, whereas a sponsor supports the individual. I believe PG and TL are sponsors and should be labeled as such.)

Alpharad, or simply Alpha, is a smasher from Norman, Oklahoma who is most famous for his series of Super Smash Bros. 4 montages on YouTube titled How to Play 101, as well as Story for Glory, Challenge Mode, and other series featuring a variety of games. He, along with YouTuber MagicScrumpy, helped develop the Melee mod Silly Melee, which changes every character to have unique moveset changes, along with the addition of new stages. He used to be part of the Smash streaming crew Tourney Locator, until he left on May 4, 2016[1]. However, almost two months later, he would be picked up by Panda Global[2], and is currently their Creative Director.

Trivia

  • Occasionally, Alpharad tends to not take local tournaments seriously, using characters such as Wario-Man during bracket matches or partnering with a random person for doubles matches. He also uploaded a video of him at a tournament playing by himself as Wario-Man in doubles.
  • Alpharad started a second let's play channel along with fellow YouTuber Dad as Heck called Friends Without Benefits. The channel has since added three more YouTubers known as Weegee Plays, Deezus, and Major Duncan, and has reached over 150,000 subscribers.
    • However, on August 21st, Alpharad announced that he was going to leave Friends Without Benefits, saying that he didn't feel like he was fitting in anymore; he also said that he would be doing one more let's play with each member of the group before leaving. [3]
