—Description from Ultimate's Move List

Shot Put (鉄球投げ, Iron Ball Throw), rendered as Shot-Put in the PAL version, is one of the three neutral special moves usable by Mii Brawlers. The Mii tosses a shot, a black iron ball resembling a cannonball, into the air. It is the only projectile move available to Mii Brawlers, but this is made up by the fact that it is a powerful tool for them.

The Shot Put deals 15% damage to anyone it touches before hitting the ground, 11% after the first bounce, and 8% after the second, at which point the shot loses momentum and quickly disappears. The shot cannot rebound and also cannot be destroyed. Its arced trajectory and quick falling speed can also allow the user to edgeguard while staying on the stage, though this is somewhat countered by the shot's high, mostly vertical knockback.

In Ultimate, the move boasts less endlag, and the projectile now deals more damage while bouncing.
