Captain L is a Smash 4 Pikachu main with a strong Jigglypuff secondary from British Columbia. 2nd on the Official British Columbia Power Rankings and 36th on the Panda Global Rankings v5. Captain L consistently places top 3 in the Pacific Northwest region, and has taken sets off of top players such as MkLeo, Tweek, Larry Lurr, Mr.R, Mistake, ESAM, Marss, Lima, Charlie, Javi, and Armando. He is considered one of the best Pikachu mains in the world (along with ESAM) and the best Jigglypuff in the world. He is currently ranked 4th on the Canada Smash Ranking [1], 2nd on the Official British Columbia Power Rankings, and 79th on the Panda Global Rankings 100.
Captain L is known for his use of the Bidou control scheme.
Play style
Captain L employs a defensive playstyle where he uses well placed thunderjolts to harass and goad opponents into approaching. He has had a number of matches go to time with most of said timeouts resulting in his win. Despite this, he has a top-notch combo game. He has a great deal of consistency with Pikachu's up-throw thunder kill combo. His Jigglypuff is also known for a surprising combo game and rest reads.
