Cresselia (クレセリア, Crecelia) is a fictional creature from the Pokémon series.
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl
As a stage element
Cresselia has a chance to appear on the Spear Pillar stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl when the background has a bluish hue, which usually means that Dialga will appear. Cresselia remains stationary, occasionally attacking with Psycho Cut in two possible ways:
- radiate from its central position a series of blades.
- release a single spinning blade which moves around the stage in a boomerang-like fashion.

Cresselia is a Psychic-type Legendary Pokémon introducing in Generation IV. It is associated with the crescent moon, and its Lunar Wing possesses the ability to dispel nightmares, in particular the ones caused by Darkrai. In Pokémon Diamond and Pearl and Pokémon Platinum Cresselia can be found on Fullmoon Island, however when interacted with it runs away and has to be hunted down throughout Sinnoh; in later games, however, it is fought as a normal stationary legendary Pokémon.
Psycho Cut is a physical Psychic-type move which Cresselia can learn naturally in every game where both are available. It has 70 base power, 100% accuracy and a increased chance of dealing a critical hit.
