Hitbox visualization showing Ness's jab 3.

Overview

Ness's third hit of his neutral attack or jab in Super Smash Bros. involves Ness doing a small kick. The move does approximately 4% and has limited range with slight knockback. It is not recommended to use this move as unlike jab 1, jab 3 does not lead into a free grab, also known as a jab grab. This move, similar to most jabs, is also punishable on hit (at low percents as well as higher,) depending on opposing character. Therefore, this move is rarely seen competitively.
