The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the Trn template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

Pit may refer to:
*Pit, a character from the Kid Icarus series.
**In Brawl
**In Smash 4
**In Ultimate
*Dark Pit, a character from the Kid Icarus series who is a clone of Pit.
**In Smash 4
**In Ultimate
*Bottomless pits, such as those found in Yoshi's Island and Mushroom Kingdom
*The Pitfall item

Pits refers simultaneously to:
As Dark Pit is a clone of Pit, with both characters being identical in their physics, hitboxes, hurtboxes, and frame data, apart from a few moves, both characters are often referred to simultaneously, such as being listed together in one spot on tier lists and matchups. The term "Pits" is often used to refer to both characters collectively due to their equivalence.
*Pit
*Dark Pit

In Super Smash Bros. 4, since both Pit and Dark Pit are clones who are exactly identical in their physics, hitboxes/hurtboxes, and all their frame data bar a few moves, most of the time when referring to something about one of the Pits, it equally applies to the other and thus it's simpler to refer to them both together simultaneously. This also often results in both characters being listed together in one spot on tier lists and matchup charts.
