Maybe the people/persons/machines/aliens in charge of it were just tired of it and wanted to get it over with so they rushed it out soon as they could? This is the first and latest tier list for Smash 4. It was posted on February 1st, 2016. Character customization options were not taken into account, and Mii Fighters used default moves.

1.1.6 Tiers[edit]
So has there been any work towards making a new list with the, supposed, final update patch, any idea how a new version of the tier list is gonna be?

- AFAIK, no, they have not, and I presume they're not going to make one until they are CERTAIN it's the final one. If you want my thoughts on it, see here.
