Fox spins very quickly while airborne, doing a [[drill]] downwards. This attack does 7 hits doing 2% damage per hit for a total of 14% damage and is a extremely weak [[meteor smash|spike]]. Like all drill kicks, his drill can be very useful in combos and stunning opponents if it wasn't easy to [[DI]] out of. However, it is difficult to escape if the dair is more closer to opponent. With Fox being a fast faller, Z-cancelling helps with his combos despite said DI. It can chain into a up tilt and another dair, a shine, or an {{mvsub|Fox|SSB|Up smash|poss=y}} for a quick and powerful vertical KO.

Fox spins very quickly whilst airborne, doing a drill downwards. This attack has 7 hits, each doing 2% damage for a maximum of 14% damage, and is an extremely weak meteor smash. It can be useful for positioning opponents for combos and various setups, including being able to cover certain options from the opponent, such as rolls and tech options. If Fox lands whilst using a down aerial to do so, it is possible to followup with most of Fox's grounded moves. Like all of the drills in the game, it can be SDI'd out of, though if it is spaced properly, it can still be difficult for enemies to punish.
