Stop making useless comments

Smash Wiki does not take place in real life, and the site itself is not a roleplay. Don't try to make comments that make sense in real life, but make absolutely no sense when typed out. It does not; the only reason other people edited his page was because the user to whom the page belongs put things on it that aren't allowed to be on there. Besides, the user isn't even active anymore. What you did is just change content that wasn't bad for anyone, and thus you are messing with his stuff which you shouldn't do. Preview button

I see you are making many edits. However, you can condense many of these into one edit. Use the preview button to take a look at the page before you save it instead of editing section by section. This way, Recent Changes will not be plugged up.

The preview button

Please try to make one edit to a page instead of multiple small edits. Something that can help you with this is the "Show preview" button located next to the "Save page" button at the bottom of your screen. Redirects

Capitalization for any word of an article title after the first word of the title does not affect the search. For example, searching for Meta knight leads to the Meta Knight page. Stop making capitalization redirects unless they are actually needed. MegaTron1XD 13:24, 5 August 2012 (EDT)

Welcoming new users

As implied by SW:AGF and SW:YAV, new users are best welcomed warmly, and given advice about how to edit and interact with the community. That is why I advise against making comments such as this, which can discourage new users. It's natural for users to start out by making a few edits to their userpage, and then browse around the wiki. It's possible that he/she edited before as an IP, and he/she created an account in order to formally join the community. That is why I welcomed him and helped him out, before he began making mainspace edits. Generally you should wait a bit before expecting lots of mainspace contributions, since new users may be unsure of where to edit, or even confused as to how to user wiki formatting (as was the case with CraptinFalcon). I will tell you that if you're going to make images for signatures, have less white space around them. That Kirby image has loads of space around it, and would have just as much blank space around it within the signature. It won't be transparent either. Toast ltimatum 07:57, 27 January 2013 (EST)
