List of SSBB trophies (Others): Difference between revisions
(→Notes) Tag: Mobile edit |
("Fighter Related" in Brawl consists of trophies from series that have fighters in Smash itself (Stapy is the exception to this, likely an error), not trophies of characters who are playable within their own series. Also removed the "because Starfy is an Assist Trophy" bit because A) it's speculation; and B) neither Custom Robo nor Kururin have their miscellaneous trophies under "Fighter Related" despite both also having Assist Trophies.) |

The following is a list of the 35 trophies from other, less notable Nintendo series that appear in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Two are unlocked by completing Classic Mode and All-Star Mode with R.O.B.; eight are unlocked by successfully performing specific Challenges; and the rest are available through all the means of collecting random trophies.
Name | Type | How to unlock | Picture | Description |
---|---|---|---|---|
R.O.B. | Fighter | Clear Classic Mode as R.O.B. |
R.O.B. sporting his Famicom colors. R.O.B. debuted in Japan as Robot in 1985 as an add-on for the Famicom. He could be combined with a "gyro set," etc. for two types of play. The player controlled Professor Hector, the TV emitted light, and R.O.B. responded to the light by moving. At the time, it was epoch-making game play. Recently, R.O.B. appeared in Mario Kart DS. Diffusion Beam | Final Smash | Clear All-Star Mode as R.O.B. |
R.O.B.'s Final Smash. He emits a beam from his eyes that spreads across the spectrum and undulates in great variety as it travels. What makes this technique different is R.O.B.'s ability to move while using it. This allows him to use it in combination with his other moves to increase his Final Smash's effectiveness. Lip's Stick | Item | Random |
An item that causes a damage-dealing flower to bloom on people's heads. If you find yourself with a flower on your noggin, start rattling the Control Stick back and forth to shake it off. Some characters can pull off having flower-covered heads in style, while others clearly cannot.
| |
Super Scope Nintendo Scope |
Item | Clear Target Smash Level 1 with all characters |
A bazooka-shaped peripheral for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System that was used wirelessly with an infrared sensor placed on top of the television. In Smash Bros., it can be fired rapidly or charged up. In Super Smash Bros. Melee, you could not move while shooting it, but in this game, you can move and jump while blasting!
| |
Unira | Item | Random |
In Clu Clu Land, the Unira hid gold ingots in an underwater maze, then tried to stop Bubbles from getting them. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, if you pick up an Unira and throw it, it will stick to the surface it lands on. Not only do its spines hurt, but it gently pulls in foes who stand near it. Once it's jabbed someone, Unira retracts its spines and can once again be picked up.
| |
Nintendog | Assist Trophy | Random |
A puppy for you to train on your Nintendo DS. They come in a wide variety of breeds, colors, coat styles, and personalities. You can train them, use dog toys to play with them, and feed them treats to establish a real link with your virtual pet. Other features include the ability to enter your dog in disc-catching contests and agility trials on obstacle courses.

Excitebikes | Assist Trophy | Collect all Masterpieces |
High-performance motocross bikes that handle massive jumps with ease. Using turbo on these beauties gives a speed boost but also causes the engine's internal temperature to rise. Overuse turbo, and the bikes overheat and shut down. The engines can be cooled by running over certain marks on the track. Excitebikes cap off every race with an undeniably awesome wheelie. Devil | Assist Trophy | Random |
A devil who wields serious power in Devil World. In the game, the devil floats above the maze and commands by pointing. When it gives orders, its cyclopean minions turn cranks that scroll the maze in different directions. When Tamagon, your character in the game, places all the stage's books into a hole, the devil turns into a bat and flies away. It's quite striking, no?
| |

Infantry & Tanks | Assist Trophy | Random |
Units first introduced in Famicom Wars, where they fight battles against enemy forces. Infantry are the least expensive to deploy of all units. They're not too strong, but they move well and can capture property. There are two tank types: tank A, which is expensive but has good mobility and firepower, and tank B, which is cheaper but can change battles with sheer numbers.
| |
Helirin | Assist Trophy | Random |
A unique helicopter that flies with long, slowly rotating wings. If the wings strike walls or obstacles, the Helirin takes damage and loses hearts. The Helirin can be customized by picking up and using a variety of items. | |

Trivia[edit]
- R.O.B. in Brawl is the only playable character in the entire series whose trophies are featured under the Others section.
- The Devil's NTSC trophy states that Devil World was released in Japan only, when it was also released in Europe. This error also exists with the Tamagon trophy in Melee.
- As to emulate the art style of Hotel Dusk: Room 215, the Kyle Hyde trophy is animated in Squigglevision-esque style. It is the only trophy in the entire series to feature animation of any sort.
- Ashley's NTSC trophy states that her father researched in biology. This is incorrect as Ashley's father researched in biometrics. This error was not present in the Japanese version and was fixed in the PAL version.
- Though the Dr. Wright trophy lists his sole notable appearance as the first SimCity, he had also played a major role in the Japan-exclusive SimCity 64.
- The Stapy trophy is categorized under the "Fighter Related" type despite the series she hails from not having a playable character in Brawl.
- Interestingly, the game features trophies for both the Ouendan and the Elite Beat Agents; Elite Beat Agents is the completely revamped, Western-localized version of the first Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan, and the Agents themselves appeared as secret characters in the second Ouendan game (which never saw a Western release).
- Custom Robo Arena is spelled with a colon (which is incorrect) on the Ray Mk III trophy, but without one on the Custom Robos and Jameson & A.I.R.S. trophies.
- In the Japanese version:
- Super Scope's game appearance was listed as simply Super Scope.
- The Infantry & Tank trophy's other game appearance was listed Game Boy Wars Advance 1+2, due to the fact that both Advance Wars games were delayed and eventually cancelled due to the original game's North American release date being one day before the September 11 attacks, only for both games to finally get a Japanese release in 2004 as a 2-in-1 pack.
- Barbara's other game appearance was listed English Training.
- The Custom Robos trophies listed Custom Robo for the Nintendo 64 as the debut game, as the game was never released outside of Japan.
- There is an error when obtaining the Lip's Stick trophy; it unlocks Tetris Attack in the Chronicle. However, Lip, for whom the weapon is named, did not appear in the game; when Panel de Pon was localized, it replaced the cast, including Lip, with Yoshi characters. In the Japanese version, it accurately lists Panel de Pon.
- Similarly, this error would continue into the PAL release of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U for the Lip's Stick trophy.
