R.O.B. Launcher (ロボットランチャー, Robot Launcher) is an enemy in Adventure Mode: The Subspace Emissary and a part of the R.O.B. Squad.
In the Subspace Emissary[edit]
R.O.B. Launchers are R.O.B. units with a green-and-brown colour scheme and a bright blue cord; they also feature a large tube in their heads instead of eyes. They are immobile and are usually stationed against walls or the edge of platforms. They fire missiles that track the player and deal significant damage. Similar to Snake's Remote Missile, the missiles have reduced speed while turning and travel straight when reflected. If a R.O.B. Launcher is destroyed, any missiles it has fired will lose their homing ability and continue in a straight path.
