Alpharad, or simply Alpha, is a smasher and YouTuber from Norman, Oklahoma, who is currently residing in Los Angeles, California. He was first known for his series of Super Smash Bros. 4 montages on YouTube entitled How to Play 101, as well as Story for Glory, and Challenge Mode, and although branching out to other content since, he is considered one of the most well-known Smash Bros. YouTubers, becoming the first Smash Bros. YouTuber to reach 1 million subscribers on November 22, 2018, and currently sits at 3 million subscribers.
Outside of content creation, he helped develop the Melee mod Silly Melee alongside MagicScrumpy and co-organized the The Quarantine Series alongside Cr1TiKaL during COVID-19. He was part of the streaming crew Tourney Locator until May 4th, 2016,[1] and was picked up by Panda two months later,[2] serving as their Creative Director for a period before stepping back in late 2019.
