Subspace Emissary[edit]

The Great Maze involves fights against subspacial clones of almost all the characters in the game, with the exceptions of Sheik, Toon Link, Zero Suit Samus, Wolf, Jigglypuff, and Sonic. This is a gallery of these opponents.

World of Light[edit]

In Adventure Mode: World of Light, Galeem and Dharkon create copies of characters during their battles, albeit only those that were shown under their control during gameplay for each. Fake versions of almost all characters in the base game exist, with the exceptions of Kirby, Olimar, and the Mii Fighters. Despite a fake version of the male Pokémon Trainer existing in the Subspace Emissary and being shown in the mode's prologue as being captured by Galeem, there's no fake version of either gender of Pokémon Trainer produced when one of their Pokémon are spawned. Additionally, alternate characters (such as Koopalings or female Corrin) and downloadable fighters (such as Piranha Plant or Joker) do not have fake versions.
