Sexual assault allegation and confession[edit]

On July 13th, 2021, after a party weekend at Dart's house, female smasher Loba posted a TwitLonger where she accused CruxisPhantom for sexually assaulting her at his house while she was sleeping during a trip around Santiago to Rancagua with him and GuachPerry. She mentions that after Phantom confessed to GuachPerry that he tried to assault her, she and GuachPerry left him behind.[1]

Later on the same day, Phantom posted a TwitLonger where he once again confessed to the assault, however he stated that she was being "lovey-dovey" with him: she had caressed his hair, hugged him constantly, and performed some explicit contacts in order to purposely arouse him.[2] Following the TwitLonger, Loba debunked the claim by stating that she was an affectionate person around friends, something that many players in the Chilean scene confirmed.[3] She also provided some screenshots where she addressed how Phantom made the claim up to slander her.[4] Following these statements, Phantom decided to retire from competitive play and seek therapy. He has since been kicked out of his esports team, One Way, and is currently banned from attending their events.[5]

Trivia[edit]

  • Despite using the same skin color as ZeRo's Diddy Kong, Phantom claims that he had used that color since Brawl, back when he faced ZeRo and his Meta Knight in Chile. [6]
  • His gamertag's origin comes from his favourite Pokémon typing (Ghost Type) and in connection with the Nicktoon Danny Phantom, which was being dubbed in South America during early Brawl.
