All-Star Semifinal Regulars (オールスター戦準レギュラー, All-Star Semi-Regular) is the 29th solo event match out of a total of 41 in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The player chooses any character to fight as and is pitted against 4 fighters, each of which had to be unlocked in Super Smash Bros (which are Captain Falcon, Jigglypuff, Luigi, and Ness). The player fights 2 at a time and there is also a small delay each time the player KOs an opponent. Note that like in Event 10: All-Star Battle Regulars, the characters are arranged in the same order in the original Super Smash Bros.'s character selection screen from left to right (Luigi to Captain Falcon and Ness to Jigglypuff).
Trivia
- The music track used in this event is Opening (Super Smash Bros. Melee), which normally plays on Final Destination.
- The stage used in this event is Yoshi's Island, in its Super Smash Bros. Melee incarnation. This is likely because a Yoshi's Island stage has appeared in every Super Smash Bros. game to date, and represents the retro character choices in this match.
- Though this event says these characters have always been unlockable, Captain Falcon and Ness were starter characters in Melee.
- However, for the first time, in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U; all twelve characters in the Original 12 all were starter characters. Captain Falcon, Jigglypuff, Luigi, and Ness (unlockable in both Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Bros. Brawl) were all starter characters.
- This is the only solo all-star event in Brawl to not feature 8 opponents (with only 4).
