The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

The Pitfall is an item that appear in Brawl. It hails from the Animal Crossing series. When thrown onto the ground, the ball breaks, and leaves no trace of where it landed, and the next person to walk over it is sucked down. This also happens when the item is thrown at an enemy. If used on a floating platform, the character will fall through it, but if used on the ground, the character will just be stuck temporarily as if hit by Donkey Kong's Headbutt. If you throw it at an enemy while he or she is in the air he or she will go straight to the ground, as if Meteor Smashed. This can be used to score easy KO's on custom stages made by the Stage Builder that have the fall-through platforms as their base.
