- After controversy regarding abusiveness and harassment, Alex Strife steps down as Tournament Official for Apex 2015.

- Nintendo announces the closure of their current loyalty program, Club Nintendo. Users have until March to register games bought before January 20, 2015 and until June to redeem coins. The service will end in June and will be replaced with a new one.

- At Paragon 2015, Hungrybox, Mew2King and Leffen respectively take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in Melee singles, and Mew2King, Nick Riddle, and StaticManny respectively take 1st, 2nd and 3rd in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U singles. Hungrybox & Plup win Melee teams and Mew2King wins Project M singles.
