This track is a medley of two music tracks from the Nintendo GameCube game Pikmin. The first music piece is a direct port of the End of Day Theme, which plays whenever a day ends in Pikmin, and Captain Olimar boards his ship, while his Pikmin board their respective onions. The second track is a remix of the music that plays on the Title Screen of Pikmin.

This track is a direct port of a music piece in Pikmin that plays whenever Olimar explores the Forest of Hope, the area the Distant Planet stage in Brawl is modelled after. In Pikmin, whenever Olimar & the Pikmin engage in battle with an enemy, a bongo beat is added to the background music. This bongo beat plays at points of the Brawl arrangement of this track.

Origin

This track could be considered a completely original creation for Brawl, as it is a recording of ambient noises that would typically occur in a forest or jungle environment, including rustling leaves, the snapping of twigs, animal calls, cricket chirps and bird songs. These sound effects were all used in Pikmin and Pikmin 2 at some point in the games.
