Lucario (ルカリオ, Rukario) will be a playable character in Super Smash Bros. 4. He was announced on January 31, 2014, the same day that Super Smash Bros. Brawl was released in Japan; according to an extra post on the Miiverse reveal, this timing was done to commend the Brawl developers for succeeding in adding Lucario to said game.
Confirmed information
- The "influence" of Lucario's aura has been increased. While it seems clear this refers to the increased power of aura attacks with Lucario at high damage, it's unknown whether it also refers to weakening their power at low damage.
- The following moves appear unchanged:
- Neutral attack hit 3
- Down smash
- Aura Sphere
- ExtremeSpeed
- Double Team (startup)
- Up taunt now has more aura visuals.
