(Really? Looks like Modern Sonic to me. Classic Sonic is shorter, fatter, has shorter hair, lighter fur, and don't have those shoe buckles. Also, Classic Sonic's eyes are black. This is obviously Modern Sonic.)

Sonic (ソニック) will be a playable character in Super Smash Bros. 4. He was announced during the Nintendo Direct in October, in celebration of Sonic Lost World being released in the same month. His appearance is slightly based off of his Modern model in Sonic Generations. The official website also refers to Sonic by the full name Sonic the Hedgehog.
